They were bothering me as heck! So I took action against them and they got tamed.


These noobs asked me before to pay 3.5k for 8 turns in return for peace. Rejected. 800 for 20 turns for peace. Rejected. Now they just asked for a ceasefire


After taking 2 Milan cities they just have 2 left. They're not bothering me anymore.


Without any distractions in mainland Europe I built a Dhow and sent an army near London.


I don't care ! That's the best part about this campaign...they are fighting the Turks atm.

I called a Jihad on Lisbon (Portugal's capital). Turks took it, I took Cardoba (which had belonged to Portugal).

They were giving me a difficult time in my Southern front and now they have been humbled.

BUT FREAKING MILAN IS STILL PISSING ME OFF! Should I just exterminate their last 2 cities?

Also Spain keeps sending ships to take the village of Dublin (which has no buildings and sucks).

And Scotland, just striked.

My current pests are Denmark, Milan, Scotland.

Actually Portugal did stop attacking.

First off, Scotland sieged my city of York. As a result I eliminated them.

Second off, Portugal pissed me off keeps on trying to take my city of Bordaeux. As a result, off with their heads...eliminated by taking their last city Pamplona.

Thirdly, look at the map. I took the city of Genoa (exterminated and got 6k!) from them. Now they just have their capital...Milan. If they mess with me again then they'll be eliminated...but I think they got tamed.

Turks couldn't control their city of Lisbon, so they rebelled against them. Turks are now vassals of the Mongols.

And I gotta give props to Venice. They actually went to war with the Pope and took all of Italy (except Sicily).

extermination is actually best if its a city that doesn't follow ur religion and is far away form ur capital ... which is why u shud do it in late game ... unless you want revolts and rebellions

so im guessing egypt is still ur favorite out of the moors, egypt, and the turks? cause u could've done this easier with the moors

I exterminate for the money and the "dread" experience. My capital is Paris.

They're all different and I had fun with all, but tbh I don't like the Turkish camapign very much.

Egypt--->Lots of space to expand with no enemies to bother and build a decent economy.
Moors--->West...far from Mongols, Timurids.

Turkish campaign is the hardest ... you get hit from all sides ... and you are really weak at the beginning and the byzantines are the complete opposite of that ... and u have to conquer the ME before Egypt or fight them for it if you want any cash to fund your wars ... Turks are actually my favorite ... I don't like the Moors too much because they have to really wait to get good units (same with the Turks but just not as fun) ... Egypt is boring and the easiest out of the 3 ...

IMO Moors are the easiest since they don't deal with the hordes.

Buy yeah I suppose the Egypt campaign would be boring at first if you are the type of player who likes to jump into wars.

I actually like to have a good number of cities, decent economy before any wars.

Depends on your playing style.

actually that way you can build up some stacks in prep for the invasions ... unlike with the Turks who will almost always be in a war when they get hit ... but dealing with the invasions is the most enjoyable part of the game ... Moors are off fighting the insane pope from NA tho
