i ment in the first article..
i think these have arguably been seen alot through history
1. Khasf meaning that there will be three places where the earth will
open up and men will be buried alive. One will be in the west, one in
the east and one in Arabia.
3. There will be a large exploitation of illiteracy.
4. There will be great use of alcohol and adultery to such a shameful extent that it will be as common as donkeys eating grass.
6. There will be a lot of goods.
8. Men will listen to their women and not their parents. They will stay
in close contact with their friends and stay away from their parents.
9. There will be great use of music.
10. People will curse their ancestors and speak ill of them.
11. The wrongdoers and non-capable will be made leaders.
12. Degraded people, who could not find cheap clothing, will own large mansions.
14. To stay in Islam will be so difficult as it is difficult to hold
hot ash in the hand. Up till the extent that a person will go the
cemetery and wish that they were in that grave.

i interpreted #1 as earthquakes, and there has been some incredibly devastating ones in the past, and i can only think about the one about the poor applying to this age exclusivly.. i think the others can be interpreted in a way that can apply to most of our history

i normally think due to translations and old ways sometimes things dont come out exactly as their written, like saying 70,000 jews, wouldnt think it would be exactly 70,000 or it might be no where near.. like in alot of traditional chinesse storys they say things like 10,000 men but actully theyre saying an uncountable ammount or an impossible ammount

i understand the Qur'an is your authority, but i allways think the holy texts need to be interpreted to be understood, i could quite bible passages but that doesn't mean i know what they are saying.

my point was interpretation can compleatly change the meaning of something in a way im more intrested in everyones individual (or not) interpretation of islam and the Qu'ran

No, the Quran is interpretted correctly. well i know the arabic hasnt changed but i dont think arabic would be your first launguage and even if it was, launguage evolves over time and how do you know the translation between arabic and english is perfect, Im not picking holes in the Qur'an i just question sources, especially if they are important

Well since Im Egyptian it should be...but unfortunately it isnt. Its my second language.
Also no, the interpretation of the QUran never changed...and will never changed.
It isnt perfect. Tahst why i said the english changes. Also it will never be perfect. Its impossibel to translate the Quran from Arabic to a different language perfectly. Its merely a trasnaltion to give the english readers, the closest possible meaning of the verse.
Its ok.
BTW, till now you are asking techincal questions...when will you actually ask questions about the religion
