Egypt-Stainless Steel
Factions:
Map:
I chose Egypt. I'm playing Late-Era campaign. M/M. Currently fighting Kingdom of Jerusalem. Annoying as HELL.
Became allies with the Turks. Sending a diplomat to Cuman Khante (present day Iran) to have an alliance with. I'll try to get an alliance with all the Muslim factions. So I'll end one to the Golden Horde (Mongols) and the Moors.
I can't manage an economy >.< . I'm almost in debt.
For those who wonder. How is SS different than the Vanilla game (normal game):
I'll have lots of fun with this game
P.S.: @sayf: Detail is incredible. If you fight with a Muslim faction their flag says "Allah" in Arabic instead of the faction icon.
EDIT: Just realized I'm playing an older version of SS. I'm playing version 6.1. 6.4 came out...Will update later.

- Other buildings: highways, Hanseatic League and pagan shrines.
Role Play Elements
*- Completely reworked military and economical education, based on the inclination towards Military or Administrative skills, the quality of schools, libraries and universities and of course skills you show in battle.
*- Different titles for Greek, Catholic and Islamic culture for every settlement. The effects and descriptions are often based on historical backgrounds.
*- Crowns for faction leaders that have conquered historical biggest empires
*- Royal Bloodlines for all existing factions
- Army attrition and supply system demands much more tactical decisions and religion is much more important. Watch and take care of your general and the moral and supply of his army!
*- Most ancillaries are now transferable from one character to another
*- Countless new Traits, Transferable Titles, Ancillaries
*- Several boosts for the AI to get better characters
- Unique Traits and Ancillaries for the Teutonic Order and the Knights Templar
- New Patriarch titles for Orthodox Factions available
- Many broken Character Traits and Ancillaries fixed
- and much more...
I'll have lots of fun with this game

Re: Egypt-Stainless Steel
But historically, they used to write La Ela Ela Allah on their flags, no?
Also yeah...but you are almost guaranteed that no one will siege Makkah or Medina...too far in the desert.

Mongols were historically pagan before coming into contact with the Muslims, then I think 4/5 of them converted to Islam

Oh my bad. I meant Kwarezmian Empire (present day Iran) and not Cuman Khanante. That's the other Muslim one.
I have become allies with Kwarez too

Re: Egypt-Stainless Steel
I conquered Arabia. I'm allied with the Muslim Turks and Kwarezmians.
Venice attacked my city of Benghazi. I reconquered it and I sent troops over to their land to give them trouble. I conquered on of their cities.
An impressive thing that I noticed is that when I called a Jihad all Muslim factions joined right away. I called a Jihad against Spain's capital, Leon; Turks, Kwarez and Moors all joined the Jihad.

It's harder. I soloed KOJ. You don't need to make alliances. But if you do they are helpful.
I'm sending a diplomat to the Moors too.

Re: Egypt-Stainless Steel
Well I'm playing the Late-Era campaign so the Mongols (called Golden Horde) are already in the game when you start. (There is also an early campaign)
Timurids got removed.
Victory conditions for Egypt; hold 70 regions, constabtiople, Jerusalem, Mecca, Benghazi, Baghdad

Re: Egypt-Stainless Steel
so just attack Europe from Italy again, so technically this way ur empire will still be "connected" since I've noticed u haven't fought the Turks for Constantinople
Sacking Italy as you know is the best way to make money lol
And wtf, no Timurids??!? No war elephants then either that means -_-
