That serves injustice to the Abbasid caliphate. Abbasid Caliphate was perhaps the largest in Islamic history.

Abbasids never really conquered anything, the Prophet (S) and his 4 Khulafa united Arabia and liberated the ME and Persia and some parts of N Africa ... then it was during the Umayyad rule when all of N Africa and Spain was liberated as well as Afghanistan and Pakistan regions and the rest of C Asia

Then after that nothing else was conquered except for some regions in India and then the Ottomans made their push into E Europe all the way to Vienna
