Maybe they don't lie in your news channels.
A local Hindi news channel once claimed they spotted an alien and showed it's pics. Anyone could figure out that it was a burnt doll
And the same channel also said that a devil (rakshas called Raavan, the biggest villain in the hindu culture, supposed to have 10 heads and everything) came alive and was roaming around the streets.
