the london bit was weird, there was a random girl picked on blue peter (ask if you dont know what it is) and she was like the most powerful person there is walking on peoples backs and keeping them off the bus.

and then there was a terrible singer from xfactor (a reality tv show about people who want to sing and be famous) and then boris johnson!

its a show for kids and it always tries to get them to do things like send things in and random stuff, i havent watched it since i was like 7 or something

No, (lol) this is just a symbolic refernce to the power of kids around the globe. The girl, by the way, walked on the backs of the adults so that she is in level with the entrance of the bus (kind of like a red carpet)!.

idk, i don't think that's true, she got off the bus alright so she could probably get back on. i think it was just for show

Yeah, thats my point. Her walking on her elders, gives a wrong message IMO :

Steve, true. I watched the scene again and it looked like the lady was helping the girl walk on the 'human' zebra crossing.

And Ahmed, I would agree with you on this. It does gives teh wrong message!

But also,

walking on her elders

is similar to walking on the shoulders of others, which symbolizes that one is applying what he/she has learned from elders (Like Newton said that 'I am what I am because I have stood on the shoulders of the giants' referring to the scientists before him!).
