It's a Palm Pixi.
I want it because it's a smart phone, has a simple keyboard (QWERTY), I don't mind the touchscreen, it's Last.FM compatible & it's also free if my dad gets it with his plan

I'm going to ask my dad about it tomorrow, which I know he won't be very proud about. But I think it'll help me out a bit.

I would suggest to get a touch screen one (I don't think a screen of that size is touch screen). They usually come free with plans.

Yes a droid (AKA Android) is much better.

Droid is a line of phones that use the Android OS.
The Palm Pre, and the Palm Pixi use Web OS, created by Palm. It's beautiful, yet isn't very mature because app developers never really picked up on it.

Now, I like Android more, because it has more behind it, but I think Web has a lot of potential.

Flame, I'll be adding several private apps to it. I won't be using it a lot, but a lot more than my current phone.

You know how to create apps?

I know how to make minimal games with a game maker..
& I sometimes use that game maker to make music players, planners, etc.
All you have to do from there is convert it to a jar or jad file to get it as an app on a phone.
I haven't done it in a few months, but I think that it's like riding a bike.
