Pharmacists can be called "Dr." because many have earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) just like someone who has earned a PhD degree can also be called "Dr". But they are not medical doctors.

You know what I see is the problem that isn't giving Pharmacists the respect that they deserve?
-Pharmacist's low self esteem
-The Media
-Pharm school should be more difficult to get into and to pass
Fix these 3 and you'll have a pharmacist getting as much respect as a Doctor (MD).

Tell me more bro. I need your knowledge. You already went though tis. Tell me why you just said this.
P.S.: The Original doctor is actually the alchemist (pharm). Diagnosis doctors came later.
