well people in my school have said if obamas president a lot of racists will go try and assasinate him so hopefully if hes president theres a lot of security

And, politicians can only cheat as long as the people allow them to. Example: the Spitzer crisis: It was not a federal government agency which discovered his wrong doings, it was a attorney tired of such bad sheeps!

Hassan, Spitzer did not cheat the elections...he was pressured to resign due to a prostitution crisis.

Razor, I know that Spitzer did not cheated in the elections. It was an example of politicians' cheating with the public. Cheating has various types and forms. For me, everything from accepting a bribe to misusing your power is cheating with the people.

Well, I hope that the Democrat really wins. Pretty much optimistic but there is a little bit of unsureity! Hoping for the best.

There is no hope in any of America's running-for-presidents.

Why are we pessimistic? The end of two wars sound good, provided that we are going to have another with Iran.

Who said that they ended? Do you see a "peace" agreement being signed or the daily killing being stopped...I don't think so...

I repeat, that's what the 'hope' with Obama is that he will end the war.

I know. And i agree that it is somewhat doubtful. However, the Obama camp has promised to at least give a schedule to withdraw massive U.S. and NATO forces from the area (the date it says is 2010). Even though I am not 100 % sure this will happen, I am, again, hopeful that he will keep his word rather than letting the army deciding when they want to come back.

So? So what if they withdraw? Hassan the coutires are runined. They are back to the stone age. I don't see how withdrawing will help this?

This is the first step towards prosperity. The US has long since obtained the policy of what I call feed the needy, like they did to war torn Europe and developing Latin America. I am sure they will do the same to Iraq and Afghanistan once they are done 'fighting' the lost battle.

Again, hope is the only thing I cling to right now.

Acording to a poll most people are going to vote for John Macain.

Which poll? Accrding to last weeks ABC Tv report, it was 46-44 for Obama.

Well, i don't keep that up to date with it, it was about 3 weeks ago though
