he was trying to explain homosexuality without the benefits of gene theory. He was looking for a rational explanation and he came up with penis **** for girls... They want to sleep with girls which is something a man does... I can see where he was coming from.

also in his time women were second class citizens, you can see why he would suspect jealousy. They have to live a life with many things denied to them because they don't have a penis.

Its clearly unfair and im sure there were women who were wishing they were men, as there are now.

he had that down to an over bearing mother, he picks up on her sexual drives and thinks its normal to be attracted to men. Again hes wrong but its a good effort.
