I've never been to NYC, so I don't know. But Oklahomans are very different from Texans, and the two states aren't that far away. So I can imagine New Yorkers having lots of differences.

In accent they are different. I don't think they are different in customs.

They talk the same. But they act much different.

The Western, Southern and Eastern accents are different...

There is no one southern accent... Alabama and east have their own accent, while Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico have their own. There's also a 'country accent' one could mistaken as Southern.
