its sunday morning which means 2 things for me, firsty im going to have a big meal soon Smile

and secondly im going to announce the winner of my first competition Very Happy

many of you scratched your heads over this one but when you establish a couple of facts the solution becomes clear. This is what you need to know;

the snake bigger (and wider) than the diamond,
the box has a sliding lid.

some of you didnt get there but the answer is this. The thief turned the box upside-down then the tilted it so the diamond was in the courner next to where the box opens, finally he opens the box just enough to let the diamond drop out leaving the snake trapped.

Give a big round of applause to the person who got there fastest, Riari.

Congratulations the doors of my shop have opened for you, buy 1 thing, then get out! zut a lore! you come in 'ere with ze breathing on my stock, ze little fingers touching things...

P.S. Marwa thinks her item ideas are better than mine... It's not true is it!?

you cant get into the box without waking the snake, a few people asked if it was asleep, the answer is no.

as the box is closed you cannot tell when the snake is awake or asleep therefor its not an elegant solution, the their cannot check to see if the snake is sleeping more than once as it would kill him if its awake.

im sorry ahmed, i know you didnt get much of a chance but Riari got it almost immediately and i really wanted to get started on the next thing, il start a quiz before the night is done, you will get your chance to change my avatar.

that wasnt his solution, thats the one i had. The snake cannot attack because it cannot fit through the hole.

Yeah that's my first answer ^^

Then I said;

The person turned the box upside down, and distracted the snake by scratching the top of the box, and then he slid open the door just enough for the diamond to fall out, but too small for the snake to escape, then returned the box safely..?

Nooo, I swear I didn't use Google... I thought that all the way through.
I've had to steal stuff in my past, and my teacher has been trying to play me for the last week, so I really had to think about it.

lol, one of the things marwa said was that the snake would feint because the theif was so ugly, then he can steal the gem and it wakes up again before samedi gets back
