Computers:
Pros:Easily talk to others over the internet
Talk with people around the world
Play games
Research
Cons:Uses electricity
time consuming
bad for your eyes

flame99966 wrote:As I said it would be better for people in poor countrys like Pakistan and worse for America and the U.K
flame99966 wrote:Yes, but America and the U.K. depend on computers way too much. Most people make their money somehow or another with the use of computers. For example, stock marketers. They make a lot of money with computers

Anyways, not all people in America are lazy(even though I am)
flame99966 wrote:Really? I just knew that they had like 2/3 of people overweight
flame99966 wrote:No.......
I just noticed that we totally changed this from is technology good or bad to the reason America has fat people.
flame99966 wrote:I understand that. Sort of how we are argueing about technology on technology while we could be doing something healthy or with purpose
Big B wrote:thats not true benjamin franklin lived to his i think 70s because he washed himself with water unlike most people those days but still i agree with you yes tech is good
I Tehehe I wrote:Technology is helpful with many things such as mass-production of industrial goods, doing things which humans are physically incapable of doing (both in speed, precision and accuracy), connecting people from all over the world and making our lives more convenient; just to name a few.
However, a lot of these technologies have draw-backs. Computers, television and game consoles have become increasingly more common in households and popularity, but because of consistent usage, obesity rates, other health problems and severe addictions (mainly computer games) have and will lead to premature s and unwanted problems. It has also lead to a certain laziness among people and a reliance on technology for our everyday needs.
I believe that technology is good when used in moderation and when we don't become too dependent on doing things "the easy way" with the aid of technology. However, when it is constantly used, (for everything including work, entertainment) I think it certainly creates an unbalanced lifestyle which may lead to future set-backs.
