I know that this summer vacation Ill have to do surgery

And I know Ill be staying in the hosptal for 5 days

Any ideas to make me feel....better and entertained?

what happended to you? my dad had a quadruple bypass but hes still alive and when i was there what i did was try and talk with the patients next to him and help the make a wish people out

having a laptop can save you a world of boredome

i dont think most hospitals let you bring laptops i was allowded to bring my game boy advance when it happended so if you got a handheld system do that

buy some good books, ask your perents/relitives what they would suggest and see if you can borrow it from them. also if you take paper and a pen you could try to draw a scene from a book or something from memory. i know it sounds simple but these 2 things should apeal to both sides of your brain and you might find you enjoy it more than you thought you would.

if it's going to be a painfull surgery then you may be knocked out with drugs for a day or to so it will feal more like 3 days

well just hope you make it through and i think they allow you to bring dvds so you can try that bring a tv show if you have any volumes like watching dexter volume one is 12 hours plus bonus features so thats half a day alredy though im not sure a show about a serial killer who works as a blood splatter guy and only kills other killers is gonna cheer you up but its an example

aww I hope its not too bad or serious. Bring a pad and write some poetry =F

i think some hospitals have wiis in them for old people so if it has internet connection you can check on us without the need of a laptop

wiis for old people? wow i wish i was old lol anyways i'm sure thay will alow laptops

what you didnt know that its the #1 selling fitness for old people since thats enough exercise for them

At least that surgery was done and he went hom. Mine will be a metal bar in my body for 2-4 years.

his scars permanent but i got an idea for you cover-up that may help. be glad you dont have prostetics though youd be part robot then.

OK I'll just ignore the nice 4-letter word steve decided to use ..... but atleast the risk factor is low .... and there is less than a 5% chance that the deformity will return after the bar is removed ....

And terminator was a cyborg which means he was both man and machine .... they're going to remove the bar anyway so ....

Lol , I was just saying it for fun , I feel so depressed though

we all hope it goes well admin, by the sounds of things its best theyre doing it early, but the doctors and everyone else has probably told you this. Im more worried about you being bored after its over Deformity is such a cold word, but theyre going to fix it, and no one is going to be bothered about the scars, probably impressing if anything

Thats what my friends at school said too, that the worst part is waiting in the hospital

And the operation is this summer vacation.

And Thanks
