Yes, I heard that tommatoes are begtables, but the Americans just called them fruit, because before America had this law where they cant import vegtables. But Americans were in deep need of tomatoes(dont ask me why), so they just calle dthem fruit. SO they could import them in.

Hate to break up this little walk into history but they are fruit because it has teh seeds and grows above ground (does that not make it a fruit by definition?) also they are part of the berry family if you are interested o.O

yes they are fruit by definition but they are legalized as a vegetable

now that you point it out i have. that may be because people messed with the genetics of the potato to make it change to a purple color

Anh how about the orange and yellow and green and red peppers.

actully purple potatoes are a natural vegetable, no food colouring or people messing with its genes. please try to look into things abit more.

its not an actual fruit its a fruit by the definition of it but legally and pretty much genectically its a vegetable

there was probably some genetic mutation or a cross breed changing them from purple to orange
