My nephew had recently bought copy of cod black oops just for it to break in less than 24hr's, the reason I assume he has been ripped off is because after he had his copy replaced due to the warranty he had taken it to my dwellings, and mind you on a totally separate xbox, the disk had once again broke in EXACTLY THE SAME WAY! any thoughts or comments on this atrocity?

My parents bought me that game for my birthday...I'll be PO'd if the game breaks in that amount of time. But just because both disks broke in different Xboxs in the same way doesn't necessarily mean he was ripped off. I could have been a number of problems. Careless shipping and handling could have damaged or weakened both disks. Or, if both Xboxs made in the same relative time frame, they could both share the same problem, in the form of a disk drive malfunction. While I was playing a game a few months ago, my brother lightly bumped on the Xbox, and somehow a third of the disk was sheared off. How did the disks break?

Regardless, Black Ops isn't too good a game

glad you picked up the black oops joke, but seriously the xboxes were made in very different time frames. both the disk developed a large circular white scratch around part of the disk.

*yes i know tipping it makes the scratch appear but in nether incident was it tipped and in fact it was laying flat.

Just got the game today for the PS3, will report back if this happens to me as well.
