    Predicting the future for that sort of thing is impossible. Too many rapid and drastic changes can happen out of nowhere. There's no way anyone could make accurate guesses.

    It could. The US could curbstomp several countries and force them to join some sort of union. It would almost certainly never happen, but it is possible.
