so just when i thought i got rid of Physics.. it pops up again in one of my maths modules -___-

anywayz.. i need help with this Q about some next particle on an inclined plane...
the Q goes like this...

A box of mass 2Kg is pushed up a ROUGH (so friction is involved) plane by a horizontal force of magnitude 25N. The plane is inclined to the horizontal at an angle of 10 degrees. Given that the coefficient of friction ("mu") between the box and the plane is 0.3, find the acceleration of the box.

the answer is supposed to be 7.1 m/s^2 (2s.f) BUT like HOW??!!!!

the guy in the book drew out the question like this Mechanics 1 QTUnX

thanks!

try gsin-ukgcos = acceleration

g = gravity (9.8m/s^2)

uk = coefficient of friction
