Im so pissed off- Payed $71 for nothing

I missed the registration date for the SAT by just ONE day. The last day was yesterday. So I couldn't use my fee waiver (not paying at all) and I payed the normal price $47 and $24 for registering late ($71). FML.

And on top of this all the schools in NYC are full. So I either take it in New Jersey or somewhere in Long Island...I choose Long Island...the metro doesn't go there so my dad will have to bring me there.

take it at merrick, the train station is not to far from the the school and you can meet jj and myself.

You don't get it. Long Island's trains are not connected with NYC's.

I already registered and it's at Great Neck.

No they aren't. The Subway map just has the ends of Queens and Brooklyn (in terms of counties on Long Island)

if you buy a ticket you can switch trains and it will take you right out to long island.

What's your subway system called?

we dont use subways, we have above ground trains. of you tell me what school your going to i can tell you the nearest station.

dude we have all 3 types of trains ... the big ones that go all over ... "regional rail" which i take to get to school, which makes stops around the area and the subway

How fast is the Long Island train?

Tbh i never rode it but i know that every time i walk to school i see it either entering the station or leaving and there is like people waiting for it.

i would guess about an hr or so from Merrick into the city, but yours is alot closer.

Does google map count the long island train as public transportation?

it should. the LIRR is under the MTA

I wonder why the MTA doesn't include it in their maps.
