Much to my delight i have stumbled on a rather not so small but growing game in alpha called minecraft. This sandbox style game of superlegos with it's complex environments, endless possibility for creative buildings, and cartoon box like graphics and entertain a wide variety of people ranging from children to adults who never gave up their love of blocks. for a game in alpha i have high hopes for this game and for where this game will go once notch (the creator) gets his new company up and running.

*due to a botched update, notch is offering the game free for a few days for anyone to try, i strongly suggest that you should.

Will you have to pay later?

you will need to pay after he fixes the mistakes if you want to keep playing, but it's a good chance to get a taste of the game.

So what do you do in the game?

it's a very open sand box game, and with the right tools you can remove and replace any kind of block, even make tools and cool contraptions like multi level fortresses stuffed with traps and such.

So it's a block based Garry's Mod? I heard the TF2 team likes this game and there was a custom map someone made based on the game as well.

I tried to play it...
I downloaded the old client, It froze when I pressed regester...
I don't have the capability to play it?

registry is down, you should be able to play it without an acc

It brings me to a login screen...

I assume the free-version is now over...

it's not over, notch just hit a really rockie patch, i cant even get on with my registered acc.

How much did you pay preid?

about 9$ but the game will get back up and running soon.
