I just want you all to know that the word "noob" is not an insult. It's to be used only in jest, and should not be taken seriously if not used so. No one should be offended by the aforementioned word.

Also noob was originally a spin off of the word "newbie" which just meant beginner/amateur. So it was never an insult in its history.

However, if someone starts using "newfag"...

An Example
Person A tells Person B that he decided that the word “Santa” is equivalent to f***ing b******
Person A then calls Person B a “Santa”
now, usually the word “Santa” is not offensive (ignoring the fact that Santa is fat and a loony)
but because of what Person A decided earlier on.. Person B most definitely got offended

now, Glory decided that the word “noob” indicates a lack of respect(from the post above)… he called me a “noob” several times… so he’s basically telling me he doesn’t respect me..

whether he meant it or not is not the issue.. it’s still offensive
and that’s why I would take the word “noob” from anyone else.. but NOT Glory

he called me a “noob” in some topic.. I ignored it
twice in some other topic… I asked him to stop twice, and he did (in that topic)
but then he called me a “noob” in some other topic, and I made my topic….i’m not stupid, I wouldn’t make the topic if Glory stopped

As for the rolling eyes thing..
1) Glory never told me that he considers it an insult
2) The same principal applies… if Glory finds rolling my eyes at him an insult, so would I, but ONLY from Glory

Example Continued
Person B starts having a go at Person A (for the reason mentioned in the previous Example)
Person C comes along (he doesn’t know why the word “Santa” is offensive) and decides that Person B has no right to have a go at Person A and adds fuel to the fire

There is a massive difference between when I used it and you used it.

When I used it: I used it 3 times and stopped when you told me to. I used it twice after the many months of rolling your eyes at me. I used it once more for calling me racist when Sayf and I were fooling around and you called what I was doing as racist...this leads to two things

1.Calling a non-Black person "nig" isn't racist.
2. Sayf said it too (nakkah) but you didn't tell him anything.

Now...

When you used it:

You were using it repeatedly with a use and without a use, just for the heck of saying it. You even rolled your eyes in some of the posts where you called me noob. I tried to tell you indirectly that I'm getting annoyed but you continued to do it nonstop. That's when it becomes disrespectful...passing the line.

And to finish my argument, quote me all the times I called you "noob" and ill do so to then let the forum decide

1. Your example fails. Athe word noob isn't an insult like your example at all.
2.It was implied in my post back then that it becomes disrespectful when it is done a lot (15+)...don't twist my words so it suits you.
3. I don't roll my eyes at you because I indeed find that disrespectful. I only do for sarcasm or when really pissed of. You do it all the time.
