Would you prefer to die today as a single person? Or next week in a massive group (for example flood kills you and 1000 other people)?

Re: Recognition in Death
It does if you think about it. Want to be a person or a number?

Re: Recognition in Death
That's all that matters to you? A rock over where you lay dead?

Re: Recognition in Death
Nope. If you die alone you won't be forgotten.

Re: Recognition in Death
i would like to die alone, hopefully with no one to burden, the body is a shell and i dont give a dam if anyone remembers me, life is to short to care about making a name for yourself, you would only end up hurting people and wasting your life.

Re: Recognition in Death
People are not neccessarily hurt at Einstein's death for example. Rather they see his life as an example.

Einstein left alot of people sad with his passing, the only reason it was softened was because he backed away from the world and isolated himself in the end.
btw neccessarily =/= necessarily

Re: Recognition in Death
When I die, I hope to be hidden, I would try to get as far away from my society as possible, I do not want to hurt anyone, or hurt my own soul. I would perfer to look over people, checking to see if they really cared, shooting for the win, seeing if what I have become was a win...
I don't care if my death is something I didn't want it to be, even if it's of age, I want my child to know, that, when someone is AWOL, they are not gone...

Re: Recognition in Death
Practically speaking I don't think I would have much choice when the inevitable comes. I would like to die in peace. that would translate to be individually, but could as well go the other way...
