Re: capitalism vs communism
Shows how little psychology you know. Money is not the only motivation. Some major motivations more important than money are:may i just point out that no communist government could outlive a strong democracy due to a large flaw in the system, If everyone gets everything the same, why should anyone work hard? Not to mention the model of communism, the USSR, does not give the system a good name.
-Autonomy
And some others. There was a video I saw and some psychology I read about it.
Truth is, most people aren't shallow enough to care just about money to work.
EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6XAPnuFjJc&feature=player_embedded
there's the video

Re: capitalism vs communism
interesting video, but i dont necessarily agree. I still feel that profit is needed with motivation and in a communist gov to many people would seek a motivational workplace that there would not be room for skilled workers. (p.s. i know that communism is not a gov type but the effects it has on the gov are so great i am associating them.)

Re: capitalism vs communism
That's not necessarily correct. Money is a motivator to a certain point. Studies have been shown the salaries about $75K neither make you happier nor more productive.
But also, you're wrong about a market without skilled workers. Without money as such a problem in choosing a job, people go into the job that they love, that they want. They are keen about to getting better at it because they love to do it which makes it better for the worker and the receiver because the worker poured his heart out doing whatever he did.

ok, but how about the jobs that no one wants to do. In your little society there is a huge gap of people who want to work in sewage treatment plants or landfills. I dont see to many inspired taxicab drivers ether.

You aren't the winner. Also, here we go.

Jobs get filled. You still go to a job to live. Captalism pays poor sums for these jobs, with Communism, any job you want pays the same, but out of necessity taxi drivers and etc. come

but how can you force people to do what they dont want to do? Is that not against the principles of communism?

You don't force them to. People do it out of necessity because people rise up to the cause when forced to.

Re: capitalism vs communism
I wouldn't since that's not where my maximum use to society would be but there are people who would work there, albeit gladly or not gladly. I'm sure those with fetishes would gladly work there.
