Why do some people want to escape reality?

Some will say that reality is "cruel". But that is confirming to yourself that life is prison. So why?

Because life is a prision, because there is always limits, because there is always a wall, because we have instincts. Shall I go on with the randomness of my answer?

People want to escape reality because they do not like what they see. Even though life is what you make it, so they will brake down one step at a time. Just to soon see that what they escaped, is their creation. Thinking that the only way out is death, we hope that someone or something will pull them out from suicide.

life is just too much for some ppl..

few people, if any, can truly escape reality...they might isolate themselves a bit, or seek some self-time...those who are in denial have to face the ugly truth soon...
