ahmed, i'm basing this on the politicians i know personally...
the ones representing the labour and green party were women... they seemed pretty good IMO
the one representing the Christian party and Conservatives were men. and they SUCKED...

Ahmed, I have heard that hadith before. I thought its origin was ambiguous, but I am not certain. I do know that Islam has multiple women whose righteousness and leadership was widely accepted and acknowledged (Umhat-ul-mominneen, Hazrat Fatimah, Wife of Firaun, RA, etc). Politics is a profession which has opporunities for both genders, and I think that women are increasingly (and rightfully) becoming more involved.

on a proper note, all humans stand on the same level at birth, it is not ones sex that defines there abilities but there own actions.

Public display of emotion is not a bad thing. I supported Mrs. Clinton during the primaries, and believe she is a very able politician.

Hilary crying was a natural reaction. I don't think it was a great moment, but it was far from being a dark moment. As i said above, she is an extremely well politician, in terms of her work as Senator and Secretary of State (and might I add as First Lady, which, Reagan said, was the only post the federal government gets for free.

Yes, a natural response. That the female gender is prone to expressing emotions more than the male does not make them any lesser of a politicians.
