i created this topic so people may add books they recommend to a list so others can read them. Any book can be added, simply leave a comment with the books name and a short description/reason to read it. this topic is NOT open for discussion about books, instead make a new topic. If anyone actually uses this topic then i wont feel like i wasted 3 minutes shaking off boredom for nothing =P.

A lovely book by Jules Verne, this book is for the lovers of adventure and geology alike! They story was very powerful and the perspective makes it easy for readers in there teens to connect with the narrator. I give the book a 5/5 -Preid
2) Lord of the Flies
William Golding's powerful novel is packed with symbolism and deeper messages. ill keep this one nice a short if you like reading past a book this is for you, if you find something else.

A short philosophical book about a guy who goes back in time and finds that the human race evolved into two different species depending on if they were the capitalists or workers.

Like the way he uses killed. He says it in a way meaning something that made him laugh or something that made him sad.

Boring Book that you might have to read at school. It's Gothic themed. It's about 2 lovers. The girl doesn't marry the boy she loves because of social status. She marries a rich guy instead. She kills herself because she loves the wealth and her real love. The lover called Heathcliff, takes revenge upon the rich guy and his family.

This is the first ever human impression on what it would like to be invaded by extraterrestrials. Also gives some insight on what H. G. Wells thinks about the future, and he wrote a lot of books about the future of the human race.

Goldacre slams the mountebanks and BSers who misuse science. Few escape: drug companies, self-styled nutritionists, deluded researchers and journalists all get thoroughly OWNED
