I was excited. Hilarious I was wrong about not having internet though.

I found a computer at my grandparent's house (it's ancient) so I got on here. When I left for Colorado, I didn't know I had a cousin. But when I arrived at my grandparent's house, my grandpa just popped out and said "HEY! COME MEET YOUR COUSIN!" I feel sorry for him though, because he has autism and can't understand many things. He used to have a job, but his manager fired him for being 'ignorant'. He asked me if I could play a game of chess with him, and I said yes cause I didn't have anything else to do. I quickly learned that he's a brilliant chess player. He plans the whole game in his head within the first few moves of the game. He would be an exceptional worker at a job that had something to do with planning and thinking, but he doesn't have anyone to help him find a job like that. His autism is too severe for him to go to college, and most managers don't care about anything but a college diploma. There's also noone the can really help him find a basic job, etc. He just lives off a small allowance my grandparents give him.

On a much better note, I was happier than I've ever been in months for two days. Being 12,000 feet in the air in the Colorado Rockies strangely makes my happy. I get this unexplainable happy feeling when I'm high above the ground. Hilarious When I'm back home I'll upload some good pictures I took to my comp and post them here.

No. It's a mental illness. I don't know very much about it myself. I think it lowers IQ and handicaps the ability to comprehend and stay focused. But my cousin's brilliant in some areas, so I don't really know tbh.

Post by Ace Mon Jul 05, 2010 12:24 am

Back a day early. I spent a 14 hours in a minivan cause my dad decided he didn't want to spend another night in a hotel...

Also, July 3rd was the worst day of my whole shtinkin life. I gotten bitten by snakes twice, fell about 20 feet through a field of rocks, and got bitten by a crazy dog. :]

I was walking along a canyon trail cause I had nothing else to do. I wasn't watching where I was walking, and I stepped on a snake's tail. It got PO'd and bit my ankle, so I yelled a bad swear word, lost my balance, and fell down a little cliff of rocks. The trail was shaped kinda like a > thingy, so I only went about 20 or 25 feet before I hit the lower trail, where there was another damned snake that freaked out and bit my arm. Then the snake when off somewhere...dunno where...So I went back the way I came up back to a lodge me 'n my family were staying at. I was about halfway up when my cellphone rang. I answered it and it was my dad, and he was PO'd cause he just heard a swear word echo throughout THE WHOLE FREAKIN CANYON! I tried to tell him what happened but he just told me to stop f***ing around and hung up...

What's really hard is travelling up a 1.5 mile canyon trail in 108 degree weather with snake bites on your right arm and right leg with no water, while watching where you step so you don't walk on another stupid snake, scorpion, etc etc. Some of the trail was a 70 degree slope. When I finally got to the top of the canyon, it turned out my grandparents had come to the lodge and brought their dog with them. Ironically, his name is Buddy...but the first thing Buddy did when he saw he was attack me. He chomped on my right hand as hard as he could before my grandfather pulled him away. The right side of my body is pretty crapped up. :[

The only good thing is that the snakes weren't venomous...but my arm and leg still hurt like hell.

And that is why July 3rd was the worst day of my life...

I'm never goin' to Colorado ever again. Hilarious

I don't need to. Normally I'm supposed to get a rabies vaccination and a tetanus shot, but my grandparents had medical thingy that showed the dog didn't have any of those.
