Whatever happened to Swine Flu?

It was in the news and people were going crazy over it. Now virtually most people forgot it. What ever happened to it?

But it just vanished all of a sudden. Before it vanished it was in the news everyday.

Anyways, what happened was the public got immunity from the disease, so the pandemic ended and news about the flu stopped since no more cases are reported.

How did we get immunity? I never took the vaccine lol.

I know I had an early encounter with the flu (And it was during my Regents Exam )

1- A few old/sick people die.

2-The media makes it look like a Resident Evil style viral outbreak and everyone freaks.

More than a few people died. 22 million Americans were sickened from it. The media did not fake anything just to get attention. 4000 Americans died...I don't consider 4000 "a few".

Swine fly didn't even exist, it was just a propaganda to make people buy the vaccine, and WHO getting some $$

I don't know to be honest, but of course propaganda and $$ was part of the plan, but it did exist though coz my brother knows someone in his school who got swine flu.

that's because it's not the gov that would profit dummkopf, and you gov is to cheep to pay for your shot, seeing as the pandemic is not as wide spread in that nation.

I said "government, etc.". Also, I realized that my previous statement was false.

@Preid: For one, nothing's free. The American states were given the vaccines with no cost from the government. The vaccines were free at the moment, but the states' are all still paying the government back. And just like any other business, the government wants to make a profit off of it's 'merchandise', and thus the American government makes lots of money.

@GunMan: Anyway, the Swine Flu pandemic was not propaganda. The American government didn't release from a lab or anything just to infect the US population just so the gov could get more money.

It's JUST another fictional minor flu that the goverment will use to scare everyone.
And I don't really care about how many people die because with 1 death comes at least 3 people who changes into a better person.

I got a free vaccine, and my city's school system sure as hell didn't pay for 5,000 vaccines.

The state payed for them, and they're probably gonna have to pay that money back to the gov.

Schools are firing teachers because they can't afford anything at all.
