How close are you and your best bud? If something was too happen would you still treat them the same?
About a year ago a friend of mines was in a terrible accident, completely destroyed her face not to mention she was a gorgeous girl. A few months ago she was able to return back to school and have normal days. But it was not so normal, no one talked to her, no guys gave her any more hugs. Everyone always moved when they saw her and no one would go near her. But I treated her the same. Like nothing ever happened. I never noticed all the band-aids and scars. Today she finally fully recovered,her mom and her did something I never expected... They went out and made a plack. It had the most incredible thing written on it. I would share with you guys but its very long to type it up. One thing I don't do is cry in front of people but some how a tear manage to leek down.. On Monday she returns to school, she has no scars anymore she is about the most gorgeous / beautiful person I have even seen. I can't wait to see everyones expression now.

Sometimes one puts walls up not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down. Your class didn't break the wall.

As for your friend, of course this is sad, and I hope she recovers, or at least can live her life normally, and wish the best for her. However, you mentioned that:

- No guys give her hugs anymore. Guys giving girls hugs is haram, so this is a good thing. (don't tell me she isn't Muslim, because this does not matter).

We had Chem presentations as you know. My partner and I got a 96. I ALWAYS wanted to beat this girl in our class. When she presented I was pretty sure she did a worst presentation and so yeah...for th firs time (I think) time in my life I would beat her. She even felt it. Today we get the paper back and she and her partner got a freaking 97! It's NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn my partner that idiot for not being able to write a simple Bibliography and forgetting to write the word "reaction". Stupid idiot.

The problem isn't the 1 point. The problem is that its the end of the year and I was so freaking close to surpassing her.

This ruined my day and my day off.

No. Through out the year in chem she got higher. (Maybe once? Maybe...but I am not sure.)
