again, the ethical issues
its good coz u get to see if ur baby has genetic diseases such as CF, Huntington's, thalassemia... etc so u can prepare to take proper care of ur kid (medicine, special needs.. etc)
but at the same time u could get "designer babies", abortions.. etc

genetic screening is basically when ppl look at the genes of the unborn child... by looking at the genes they can identify whether or not the baby has a genetic disorder... but this also allows ppl to know the gender, eye colour...etc
u can obtain cells from the foetus via amniocentesis (a syringe is used to obtain some of the amniotic fluid which contains some of the cells from the foetus) or via IVF (they look at the healthy zygotes... but again ppl can find out eye colour, hair colour and they choose what they want their kid to look like ie:: playing god)

basically... u know that zygote 1 = blue eyes + brown hair
zygote 2 = green eyes + blonde hair and zygote 3 = brown eyes and brown hair
parents could choose which one they want, not because of how healthy the kid is gonna be.... but because of aesthetic features n stuff
