its another way of saying "i don't want u to know.. go away" but in a polite way.

No, you don't get me. For example, if something is bothering a girl...why doesn't she tell the guy that's bothering what is it that bothers her?

well if something is bothering her to begin with.. and she gets all emotional about it. she might get more sad, even depressed over it, which is NEVER a good thing. lolz.

But if you talk about what's bothering you it usually solves the problem. If you don't talk about it, it'll probably never go away.

lets say if that girl made an irreversible decision a while back (or let someone else do it for her) and she's experiencing -ve effects from that decision. she might not wanna talk about it, coz she can't do anything about it.. so there's no point in getting more depressed over it.

Hmm...I don't believe there such a thing as an irreversible decision...unless one is arrogant.
