People are dieing from starvation. Wars are being fought...and Smexy and I see the top headlines in Yahoo! News today "Miss USA stumbles while walking"

How sad is that? Why does the press engage in stupid articles like that?

because stupid people make up the majority of the population and you make money threw supply and demand.

But this is on the internet...they won't make money.

The reason that the media reports this rubbish is because most people are tired of hearing that people are dieing, and starving. They want to make them feel good so what do they do? They report something stupid that someone does. I remember once Britney spears shaved her hair and the only thing that the TV and radio talked about was that. The bottom line is people simply really don't care.

If people are tired of hearing people are dying, then why don't they do something about it?

Because lots of Americans don't care about anything unless they get something out of whatever they're doing. Not very many Americans donate to charity, etc.

Sadly, that's how most of the world has become.
