I learned this the hard way Pried. So I encourage you to be steadfast in what you are doing. You will know within yourself when you have found the one that you are willing to continue life with.

Learn from your mistakes. If you don't chase something because you know you'll fail, you're bound to never find it.

I do learn from my mistakes. That's why I rather start relations for the time when I am able to marry if I want to. I thought long term relations could work, as it worked for many people. But it didn't work out.

If you never pursue those relations you'll never find them though. So what if it ends up in heartbreak? You'll feel pain for a bit but it's worth it in the end, when you're married and die with someone rather than old and alone with no one who cares about you.

Also I'm not telling him to never marry,or to marry when he is old. I am just telling him to become a little older first...like in his 20s...or when he is able to marry.

Well not really...you see...you are going to the 2 extremes. "A bit" or "Entire life"...its none of those two. But I am saying that if you truly did love someone, then it will hurt you for quite a while (and I'm not saying your entire life). If you really just liked a person for physical stuff then yeah...as you said it'll hurt a "bit".

20 is late because they've already started the relation. That's why they marry at that time.

And as for if it was purely physical, then it wouldn't hurt at all.

And people don't have to have relations for 5-10 years to marry. Some people have relations for just a year and marry the next year (Some people have less)

And I know it doesn't take 5-10 years, but that one year thing is usually only older folks. Younger ones take a few years, not necessarily 5.

2, 3 years, W/e that's still marrying at a very young age. Marrying any time during the 20s is good.
