Umm...sure...idealistically..you would be right...but some loved ones really don't deserve anything at all.

well a one sides love is still love, and perhaps that person will come around.

But why make sacrifices if it's one sided? No point at all.

I'd make sacrifices for the girl I currently like. We're good friends and I'd walk to the dark side of the moon and back (figuratively of course) for her, even if she doesn't feel the same for me.

Morals don't only concern loved ones though. They should be for all people.

No, it's not. Even if someone doesn't love you back, it doesn't render your feelings useless. You can still fulfill your inner need to protect them. To do whatever you can for them. That, that never changes. Only when you bring your head into love is it that you stop caring.

Flame...ok look at this, how about if they said they loved you back. Then they later on threw you...you'll feel like your sacrifices went into thin air no?

No you wouldn't. Even with the feelings of betrayal you still feel love there. You haven't let anyone down. Sure that person you loved turned out to be bad for you, but there are still the good moments that you've had.

You guys don't get it. First of all you assumed that I was talking about your future husbands/wives...I never said that. A family member can be a loved one for example.

And I said how far are you willing to SAVE a loved one. Therefore, he wouldn't be telling you to save him Marwa.
