Actually no it won't. Like tobacco is legal, and lots of people smoke it. Does it mean that if it was illegal, more people would smoke it? Actually no.

@ Lev: First of all, welcome to the boards, second, yes I have been to The Netherlands and Belgium both were weed is "decriminalized" NOT legal, and even though I do not smoke it, I didn't mind people who smoke it, and didn't have problem from them.
