It should though...you could glue two plastic things together with glue.

i was talking about a pritt stick

... but like the glue that sticks plastic together is usually liquid.. and only when it interacts with air it turns into a strong solid and so sticking the plastic together... as long as the glue is not exposed to air it won't stick to nothing..

But isn't there air in the glue bottle...wherever it is empty of glue?

but is it enough air to solidify it?

You said any air...so technically some glue should stick at least.
