I wasn't always a Christian but I believe that if the holiday is there because it is a Christian holiday then what the problem with calling it Christmas? Are you all THAT intolerant and empty that you feel the need to change the name of it just to make it politically correct? If I were to go out and celebrate Ramadan I would call it that, I would not call it "fun day" or something... its just stupid and not respectful.

so your saying its disrespectful is you don't say "merry christmas" only becuase you celebate it?
am i empty and intolerant becuase I accually do care about other religions and their holidays even though i don't celebrate them?
and saying im empty and intolerant is FLAMING which is against the rules

Everyone calm down, I think Shadow Dargon, just wanted it to be Happy Holidays because a person that doesnt celebrate Christams saying Merry Tuesday ( Razz ) sounds dumb.

Its not really bad to say merry christmas to everyone, you don't know what religion they are, and if that person dose not celebrate christmas they can be kind about it and not flip out of get angry, just politly say happy holidays to them.

if a friend of yours was going to a festival or another country for a vacation, your would probly say to them something along the lines of have fun at... wherever it is. What is so diffrent about a religious holiday?
