I never really get why it's celebrated. I mean, I heard it has something to do with Jesus Christ's birth, but where do all the rabbits and easter eggs come in?

the rabbits and treats are just a spin on Easter so the candy companies could abuse religion for profit, and Easter should be the celebration of the reserection of Jesus Christ the son of god.
