steves on the right track, the early earth was just screaming for life to be created with all of the gasses and such a bolt of lightning could create a single cell organism that survived in volcanic pools.

ok, so i may not have an answer that I'm as sure about as you are about yours. But it is an alternative to creationism, and i know it must be hard to determine something that happened so long ago, we will probably never have anything more than a theory.

But i don't see proof of God making us either. Accepting that i don't know is better than trusting an answer that i dont believe.

It's not always worse to not know the answer, and the origin of life has so little impact on my life, it is not something i need to know.
