Portal...you guys need to catch up with the times. Bill Gates retired from CEO like a year ago, Steve Ballmer is way too greedy to quit now. Plus, they'll never stop Windows unless Microsoft goes bankrupt. And at the rate that operating systems advance, if Windows ever decides to stop at Windows 7, they'll essentially taken themselves out of business. Office and Windows make for over 2/3 of Microsoft's profit. Take away Windows, say that if they stop selling Windows they'll get 2/3 of what they make now, and plus they'll have stopped the OS which Office is sold for most so Microsoft would end up making...well, if we're optimistic, a bit less than a billion dollars a year.
