Vista deteriorates way too much over time, it's a memory hog, it's restrictive, etc. etc. Windows 7 is supposed to be faster, I love its task bar, and it should have libraries and jumplists.

I remember in the news they had said that it's their last one. And I don't think Bill Gates really wants any more money IMO.

maybe you miss heard the word latest.

bill gates may not need any more but he provides jobs for thousands.

its the same with Microsoft office, they improve very little but most businesses have to get the latest one every time. So they will keep releasing them.

yeah it was about 3 years, maybe 5 years was a bit of an over estimate but people did think 7 came out too soon.
