If you type in "A" in Google, it says at the top right:

"Results 1 - 10 of about 15,470,000,000 for A"

All the other letters are much lower.

Possibly because it's also a word? Or because it's the first letter of the alphabet which means for people who want to teach their children the alphabet will start with a
