i think your morals would be different if you didn't have a religion... there is a "let god sort them out" attitude people sometimes have when they are sure of the afterlife.

but its not a rest, there is no more conciousnes, you dont experience time continuing its just the end.
in the same way that you haven't experienced anything before your birth, when you die it is the end of every part of you.
and im not talking about mainstream religions tbh, i think people just have an idea of another chance, another existence after death, that is the only logical thing i can think of for them suiciding
