How to tell the difference?

It's kind of weird and I would like to know the knowledge, so:

How could you know the difference between true love and a mere crush? I'm just wondering lol (for zee future )

im not sure what you mean be true love, i dont believe in sole mates or 1 person for each of us, but a crush is what you feel before you really know someone, if you got to know them and you still feel the same way you are probably in love

True love mean when two really become one. For example, seeing that person happy, you happy. Seeing that person in pain, you feel the pain. To me, that is the TRUE love.

True love means love Steve, as in not crush.
And what you said is not always true STeve. Besides my question in not how you could know if you love soemone or you have a crush for them. I was asking the vice versa of it. How could you know if another person is in love with you or simply has a crush.

i believe that true love is when u love someone coz of who they are rather than what..
also u gotta like that person for quite a while b4 u can call it love, even if u initially liked that person coz of who they are...

you want to know if someone loves you? Ask them how they feel if you cant pick up on the body language.

Ahmed, a crush is just your human instinct looking for a healthy suitor, true love is something that can only be expressed by yourself because until you live it you will never know it.

True love is what you make it. It could be less to you than it is for your best friend. Either way, if you think it's true love, it is.

But I thought I found true love flame...but it turned out to not be true. That's why I made this topic BTW.

In my opinion..
True love is when you really love that person for there personality and looks don't matter as much anymore. And all you can do is think of them, then when you see them you can't help but to be your self 100% and nothing fake like when guys try to flirt..and you know its true love because when that person leaves you wouldn't do anything dumb as in if you were to just break up with your crush.. and a crush you don't think much about that other person..crush's a mostly based off of looks..and in love you tend to know much more about the other person and you feel as if you can't live with out them!

Usually when guys decide to flirt they tend to try to act "cool" ...well they always change there never them selves

Its really pathetic sometimes..thats why they always say be your self because if you do act different every time your with that person and then you do get married then what happens? Do you really plan to act for the rest of your life? ...i don't think so!

I think true love doesn't happen right away......I think it takes a while to determine if love is true or not.
Its also definately not based on just looks, its mostly a deeper perspective on things.

true love usually happens once u get to know a person anyway...so i guess u can think of it as a flow chart(i dont feel like drawing though)

I hates crushes. If you get really into them, they could crush you greatly

with crushes u usually recover a million times easier than if u actually love the girl..
