Anyways, the council makes everything more fair Ahmed.

Flame: I would like to get as many real and active members on there as i could, thats why i like the idea of 1 or 2 months, their experience doesnt matter so much because the things we talk about would be afftecting them directly for the most part, and i think they should be able to have a say in it.

also if the committee is divided ideas get reviewed... Say for example there are 11 committee members taking part in a 2 option vote and it goes 6-5 the idea will be put into action as the 6 people want it to but a week later it is looked at again, opinions will change when people see what its like.

Anyway my point is the more people we have in the committee, the more accurate the votes are and we will have more people thinking of pros and cons for ideas.

Ahmed: if for example someone wanted a Christianity section on the forum the committee would look at the suggestion and within a few days come up with an answer in a secure, sensible and controlled environment. It is not hard to cheat in a vote on the open forum and it is hard to keep threads focused on one subject.

The problem of cheating in a poll in a topic, could be solved in a simple way:

Everyone who votes has to post saying. "I Voted!" . We check to see that the number of people who say "I voted", matches with the number of votes.

seeing as this is basically how it works anyway, what is your problem with the idea?

well it gives people a bit more power in how the forum is ran, and it gives ideas a fair chance to be implemented, and it eliminates foul play in polls, and it ensures serious discussion.

those are 4 things we currently do not have.
