This forum is going to start being ran by a committee, the major decisions will go to them to vote and argue about.

I am hoping this makes the forum a fairer and more entertaining environment for all of us.

If you have ides or suggestions for the committee please post them in the sugestions forum, we will try to address them all.

Im still admin though, don't forget that;)

Don't you think, Steve, that this committee will make the admin rank useless...or by most just a puppet?

well the idea is the whole community here get more say in what happens to them, you will still be the admin and you can do what you like but it moves away from dictatorship and towards democracy.

on the plus side you will have less stress from our demands because we have more time to develop them and decide on how reasonable they are.

im not expecting major changes with this but it should help us to resolve more issues before they arise.



you wont just be a puppet because you will have a seat on the committee, you will be able to make changes but essentially i want it to be a co-admin, but a comunal one.

if you want it to make the changes we decide on then make the member you trust the most the chairman of it and give them the power to act on our choices.

But that's technically what we do already. Have I ever did something (for real) without putting it up for vote? We always vote for any change anyways.

this way is more secure, it stops people from using or making another account to get another vote, also its more serious. The threads in the committee section will be strictly about the matter in hand, boring i know but it will get results.

well I had thought everyone who has been here for a month and has 500 posts, but 2 months and 1000+ seems a better option, when i talked to ahmed before i made this thread he wanted it to be everyone who has been here for at-least 18 months.

we will probably redefine it here if ahmed agrees to the idea.

I have a suggestion for you guys, how about elliminating those rules made for girls only

that's been addressed now.

i drew up some rules for the committee, it wil be good if we get it.

and i think that is to lenient, anyone under 6 months is not up to par if you ask me with the intention of preservation.
