Most Chem and Bio Ph.D's are the ones who couldn't get into Med school IMO .. so MD is superior ..

Chem&Bio Ph.D's are useless...
and MD is superior to any other course you can do at uni, not just Chem&Bio Ph.D's

Honestly just do what u enjoy...does social status + money matter that much if u dont enjoy ur job?
Would u rather enjoy doing ur job for 40 yrs w/o prestige, or die doing a job u dont like/ur only doing for the money or status?....lifes all about finding happiness not money...unless money makes u happier than a job u find fun, i guess...
