How do you deal with people who are so narrow minded and reassured in their own stupidity that they refuse to see opposing viewpoints even when I offer substantial evidence to support my claims? So yea in short I'm having problems with people at college.

Thats the problem. These yokels are my partners and im stuck with them. And if I cant convince them to actually do research and broaden their horizons a bit I am going to suffer since we get a "shared grade"

I hate group work. Umm...how about using reverse phsycology. Make them feel like they are getting what they want, while actually doing what you want...if that's possible.

@Ahmed I would try but I dont think they are smart enough for that. I mean one of them is like 25 and spends the entire class period picking his nose.

I decided I am going to write the whole report by myself and then complain to administration about these guys. I mean they try their very hardest to be distruptive 24/7

Just don't deal with them. Also, don't ever call other stupid, because sometime, somewhere in you life, you can be even stupid than them.

i got the same problem at college but they're both 16 and just dpnt have the attention span for it. but im going for my A and im trying everything i can think of to get them on track with me.

i know your pain, i carry idiots in my science class all the time (not you jj). you need to ether dominate the group and leave no room for shenanigans or address you administrator and ask to be graded independently because your partners are idiots.

I had to to that once with my teacher cuz I had a stupid group so my friend and I asked to be seperated from them
