Or why don't the people killed in Arab countries decide to suddenly stop being gay before they can do something punishable by death?
Actually you're wrong. Someone I once knew had a gay friend. Everyday people would ridicule him and abuse him, etc. until he was about to commit suicide. He tried to stop being gay but it didn't work, much like I can't magically stop myself from liking who I do now.simply because they never tried to stop...

It is always a choice. There is no such thing as a "TRUE GAY". If it is a genetic mutation then you are saying that it is a disease? If you agree, then it should be cured, no?SmexyGenius wrote:Being gay is only a choice if you make it one. There are many people out there who have just decided to be gay/lesbian because its more accepted now then before, and some people like feeling unique. The TRUE gay people on the other hand didn't have a choice, it was just how they turned out, genetic mutation or w/e. You can't force them to not be gay, yet they can of course suppress their emotions on the other hand just like a lot of us hetero's do everyday(that girl you like yet wont ask out...etc...). I, personally don't really care either way about gay's as long as they leave me alone, I leave them alone.
