The dreaded blue screen Empty The dreaded blue screen

Post by Hassan Mon Jun 29, 2009 6:48 pm

    Hey guys,

The blue screen keeps popping up on my screen every time I open the computer in normal mode...and I cannot access the internet in Safe mode....It tells me to "disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing"...any body know how to do that?
I thank in advance for any help...

the easiest way to do it is tap f8 when the computer is starting up, theres a small window of time you have to press f8 in and that should bring up a menu where you can edit those settings.

i could be wrong here my memory is foggy on this.

Steve, you are REALLY getting on my nerves.

I just thought that was where you can find it. I know that on my computer you can do so in System Preferences...

OK, so this is what I did: I reinstalled windows on my computer through Safe Mode...and it seems to be working now...so, hopefully forever, problem solved.
